Finding homes for migrants made destitute by UK immigration law
Please note that Thousand 4 1000 now has a new website, thousand41000.org. These pages are out of date.
Thousand 4 1000 is a community response to enforced homelessness of forced migrants. Be 1 of 1000s to give as little as £1/month and help provide secure homes for some of the most marginalised people in our community.
Thousand 4 1000 was set up by Brighton Migrant Solidarity to meet a specific, charitable need: the relief of poverty among migrants. It has been constituted as a separate entity, with a Board of Trustees and a constitution which governs how the organisation is structured and how it makes decisions. Thousand 4 1000 is a Registered Charity, No. 1171590.

Many migrants living in the UK are denied the right to work and the right to claim benefits in the UK. Brighton Migrant Solidarity provides small grants to migrants made destitute by UK government policy.
